The pathologies of this specialty are very frequent in the population, some of them especially known by all and very prevalent in certain age ranges, such as hearing loss in adults or otitis in children. On many occasions, these are clinical pictures that do not pose a danger to the patient’s life, but limit their quality of life, as in the case of alterations of smell or vertiginous syndromes. At other times, unfortunately, these are head and neck tumours that pose a significant health risk.
